De Iyke,
May you take comfort in knowing that an angel is watching over you and the kids. Hold tight to her memories for comfort.
As you browse through Chidi's photos with love and pride, I know that this sorrow will someday subside, leaving happy memories in its place - Memories of Chidinma and her smiling face.
I've asked myself, what would she want more? Perhaps our courage to reject our grief and honor her now while looking forward with hope. Why? Because she only transitioned from time to eternity.
In remembering Chidinma's life and learning to cope, we will celebrate her life so that death will lose and Chidi will win because we are confident that she is now with the Lord.
May the good Lord, and the love of those around you, see your young family through the days ahead.
You remain in our prayers.

Chidi,
When I heard the news of your demise, my heart broke. My first thought went to all you had been through over the years, the discomfort and the pain; then my second thought went to your beautiful children and the fact that their mom was no more. Then I thought of IK your husband who together with the children had been praying for your comfort and healing, my last thought was to your friends, who will never have you physically around and will miss you forever. I was heartbroken.
At the wake, my heart was so heavy it was hard to breath. Seeing your family and hearing your children talk about you, the life you lived, the talks you had with them, the teaching you gave them and the strength you impacted in them gave me hope. The slide show we watched showing your childhood, your journey from Nigeria, your marriage to IK, your children’s births, your involvement with your friends/family, with the church and with the community gave me hope. Your ever unending smile that you effortlessly showed in all your pictures even during your greatest discomfort gave me hope. The strength your husband, children, family and friends portrayed gave me hope.
All the above gave me hope and assurance that you are indeed with the Lord to hurt no more and to finally rest. This lightened my heart and though still sad you are gone, I thank God and I am happy that I got to know you. So I say Chidimma, sleep well in the bosom of our Lord, may your beautiful soul continue to rest in peace, Amen. IK, you have done really well, I pray for God's Grace on you and your children, Amen. Take Heart.

Chidi, ( Oma obi di ya, Enyi di ya, Nwanyi eji eje mba)
I know that one day; we (ALL) must vacate this bounteous earth and travel to a world beyond our ken. Even though you have died, you are not forgotten and a person not forgotten is not dead completely.
Your life was full of harmony, friendliness and hard work. I believe that god washes the eyes by tears until they can behold the invisible land where tears shall be no more.
Therefore, we shall weep no more because I am quite certain that you are resting in the lord where people of your kind go to after life in this wicked world...
Laa Na udo...
Mrs Chinyere Ndulaka.
